I’m very proud to say that our little Construction Kids community is full of like-minded people. Families, Schools and organisations who believe in encouraging learning through play and the importance of the skills that come with play using blocks such as LEGO. I want to offer children the best LEGO experiences, through parties, school workshops, clubs and public events. I get great reviews and testimonials from the children, parents and professionals that I work with.
LEGO became part of my life when my daughter was small, it was really important to me to encourage this love of building and learning through play and now my son is just as Lego mad! So here I am, building, making and creating every day – and I love it.
Professionally, I spent the years prior to Construction Kids working with children from toddler age up to year 4 pupils, parents and teachers. I was located in a variety of settings including primary schools, nurseries, sure starts and community venues, responsible for delivering specifically themed sessions in a fun and engaging way. Prior to this I spent ten years working with young people in mainstream and special schools, further education and training. I hold degree and postgraduate qualifications.
